Alien Planet piñata             My daughter said she wanted a bowling piñata for her birthday, but after I started on a bowling ball and some pins, she had a change of heart. So when Mommy's birthday came around and we decided to have a science fiction party for her, I turned the abandoned bowling ball into an alien planet. This is a really simple piñata. The rings were made from colored poster board, and the planet was decorated using leftover crepe paper from previous piñatas. It was supposed to look like a green planet with white and pale orange atmospheric clouds. I'll let you be the judge of whether or not it turned out that way.
